Land surveyors typically arrive at a job with a few different types of equipment on hand. Lastly, a land surveyor will typically gather up a few documents before they start working on surveying your property. They might look at the deed-related paperwork so they can find out the coordinates for the corners of your property, for example. Then, they will use this information so they can mark off your property lines. If land surveys have been done on the property in the past—even if it was a long time ago—your land surveyor might find that paperwork to be useful, too. If you have paperwork that is related to your property, you should provide it to your land surveyor.
